Situation

An organisation had to move to a fully remote operating model at speed during COVID-19, across many client environments at once.

Work delivered

Led the transition programme, coordinating and mentoring 10+ project managers and overseeing 83+ concurrent client infrastructure migrations, each client environment with its own technical design.

Outcome

Changes affecting 5,000+ employees were delivered under a single coordinated programme, holding scope and reporting through sustained pressure.

Situation

A Backup and Storage squad delivering in Waterfall needed to move to Agile/SAFe without losing service continuity.

Work delivered

Led the squad’s transition with nine architects and developers: introduced ceremonies and ART-level practices, and strengthened backlog refinement and Definition of Done. Coordinated dependencies across storage, backup, virtualisation, operating systems and security teams. Where a clean cut to Agile wasn’t practical, we ran a pragmatic Waterfall/Agile hybrid, keeping Waterfall-style milestone gates for service-continuity commitments while the squad delivered day to day in Scrum sprints.

Outcome

Moved the squad onto a sustainable Agile/SAFe rhythm without disrupting service continuity, using a hybrid approach where a full Agile cut-over carried too much risk.
